  1. Open your Excel document. For this double-click, the Excel icon then select the document’s name from the home page. This may open your document that has hidden columns in Excel.
  2. Then select the columns on each side of the hidden column. Here you have to just hold down the ⇧ Shift key while you click the letter above the column to the left then the column to the proper of the hidden column. The columns are going to be highlighted once you successfully select them.
  3. Click the Home tab. It’s on the upper-left side of the Excel window, at the rock bottom of the green ribbon here. Doing so will make sure that the home toolbar is displayed below the green ribbon. Click on the Format option. This button is within the “Cells” section of the Home tab. you will find this section on the far-right side of the toolbar. After that, the drop-down menu will appear.

  5. Select Hide & Unhide. this feature is below the “Visibility” heading within the Format menu. Selecting it’ll prompt a pop-out menu.
  6. Click Unhide Columns. It’s located near the bottom of the Hide & Unhide menu. Doing so will immediately unhide the column that’s between the two selected columns.
